Well done Martin and unlucky Mike who went in off in the decider. Was a good event lot of close matches and high standard of pool.

Cracking final and terrific matches and standard all day.
Both finalists survived last frame deciders in the quarters too.
Congratulations Martin and well played Mike as well

Quite a few tales of bad luck today apart from Mike's in offs in the final. Titch got a bad kick in the deciding frame v Martin which meant his ball on side cushion wasn't shifted and Dazza took a red off the table on the break in a way I have never seen done before.

Was amazing bad luck must have been something on table or a problem with the cushion or something. Has to be seen to be believed - check out the clip below and look up 33 mins in to see for yourself! After some discussion we thought it must be two shots has anyone ever seen this before?

Ball off the table on the break!?

By way addition of match scores during game went quite well today but a little difficult to do will need to find an easier way for next time. Also at around grand national time the network in Rileys went very slow so we lost connection a lot. This has meant some of the matches are split up recorded on ustream. Looking into a way of joining them up again.

Correct Chris , just two visits.

Ball off table is a standard foul , only thing that can supercede this is void break ( black potted on break , didn't happen ) or a foul break ( re-rack two visits , which also didn't happen )

Not seen this before on break , might have been a lot of spin on the object ball ?
