Subject: FW: Interleague Pettycur Bay November

Hi All,

See Schedule below for 2010 Interleague at Pettycur Bay.
This year it is based it on 24 teams and all 3 Regions have been allocated 6 places each with the remaining 6 places being allocated to Student teams.

Entry is ?450 per team.
Teams will consist of a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 9 (7 + 2 Subs).
Entry fee also includes 2 nights accomodation.

We need to pay deposits by the end of August therefore ?200 deposit paid by mid August
will secure entry.

Please advise how many teams your respective leagues wish to enter.
Entry will be on a first come first served basis.

Derek is there a cap on this at 6 teams per Region as Martin says Aberdeen might have 3, i've already gauranteed you at least 2 from Fraserburgh , looking like 3 or even 4 cos i already have over 30 names! then you've got Boddam & Cruden, Stonehaven and Elgin. Seems hard on Region 1 if any of us have to turn boys down sinse these leagues have travelled down year after year to support the event!

Jim/Martin,

If you have got 3 or 4 teams then great.
We can probably accommodate the schedule to suit. If we get 32 teams I could do 8 groups of 4 instead of 4 groups of 6 to fit in with the timescale. Quicker I can get confirmed entries the better.
If all region 1 leagues could let me know the number of teams by 5KWR Finals day that would be brilliant. Could also then maybe get deposits in at The Scottish Open,
Payment by cheque only made payable to SEPF.

I have put all the relevant info onto our website but we should have at least 2 teams anyway maybe even 3,I will let you know asap,our AGM is 2nd of August so will know more by then but will try and get teams sorted before then.

Fraserburgh 3 teams (paid ?600 deposit)
Aberdeen 2/3 teams ?
Peterhead 2/3 teams ?

Is it worth contacting the Inverness match sec as they must surely be close to coming over to SEPF?

Why they dont get much from the SPA and only a small handful of players actually play in the main events. Their players would have more chance to play if they competed against the other teams in the North Scotland.

Iain Gillies is one player (Very good player at that).
But Inverness. in fact the highlands is a big place with
a lot of players playing in a lot of leagues.
