Right seems like there is a fair bit of interest in this. I have already booked Insch on Saturday 28th August fro 30 players as a golf outing for the Black Dog which i was gong away to cancel with the course, as now changed to Kemnay couple weeks earlier, but my name is still pencilled in at Insch. Tee off time 10am

If there is 20+ names interested in going then i will do the needfull and get it sorted.

Costs are ?23 for round of Golf, ?14 for Bacon coffee on arrival, and two course meal afterwards. Bus is normally around ?300 so cost will be dependant on interest levels, but will be around ?50 all in for the day which hopefully covers a couple of trophies. Will get the bus to pick up centrally and maybe do a couple of stops on the way and same back, see where everyone stays that is playing.

They require a ?10 non-refundable deposit.

I will give it till next Thursday to see if there is enough names, if not i will have to cancel the outing with the course.

So if you fancy going on this pop your name here and we will see if it is worth it. Would be looking to get the deposits in next couple of weeks to pay the course

I wont include those already said they would fancy it as there is a confirmed date, so if any of you lot on the other thread that has indicated you would be interested, if you could add you name again here.

cheers

As there a pool comp on the 28th , how about teeing off at 3.00am

Insch Golf Club is leading the way in this exciting field.

It goes like this. The course is laid out using lightsticks. There are three kinds of lightsticks each 6in in length. Green to mark the fairways and Red to indicate hazards. Around the green you use Blue ones and at the hole itself a Green one on the flagstick and a bracelet shaped one in the hole.

The Ball used is translucent with a small lightstick inserted into it. The tee also has a small lightstick to enable you to find it in the dark

lol, sarcasim, correct this clashes with Rileys 1 day series event 6.

So it is the golf or the pool, as have no chance of getting another Saturday in the summer from a course after their season has started.

Date remains 28th August, if not enough interest then wont bother and its somethign can look into for next year

Not sure maybe Furry can alter date of the Rileys Series a week either side to allow guys that want to do both do it?
